LaShawn is someone who had to endure pain at an early age. She is a single mother of four children. Throughout her life, she has managed to stand strong and keep smiling, even though inside, she was broken. She would often hear people say that she has a beautiful spirit about her but she wouldn’t see what they were seeing. People would also wonder how someone that was so dark inside because of her brokenness was shining bright on the outside LaShawn’s light is so pure that it rubs off on the people that cross her path.

 

LaShawn will soon learn that she was blessed to have the Holy Spirit inside her. The Holy Spirit would allow LaShawn to overcome the obstacles in her life. She constantly puts God in her path to help her overcome life tragedies. Without him, this book would have never been written and you would have not heard her story. Her mission have always been to break childhood cycles so that she can teach her children to learn how to break them when they are faced with the same type of obstacles that comes across their paths. Her mission was also to find her purpose in life. She finds out that her purpose in life is to share her life story, share her wisdom, help people through their life situations, and to do what God has placed in her heart, which is to help deliver them from their life situations.

 

LaShawn is currently helping people from her own experiences. One jokingly calls her Pastor Shawn or one calls her their mentor. Another goal is to help others find their purpose in life, whether it’s through this book, standing on a podium, or just being in the presence of someone. She thanks the Lord for giving her so much mercy from a girl that was so broke down. God has prepared her heart, mind, and given her strength to tackle and pass the test that God has given her because he’s in control of her life. She owes it all to God who has spared her life not once but twice. She also pays respect to Yolanda Adams song “I’m Gonna Be Ready”. It’s a TRUE definition of LaShawn.
